How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete Through the AfroMax App

  1. Open the AfroMax app on your device
  2. Go to your Profile by tapping your profile icon in the bottom of the home screen
  3. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top right
  4. Select "Account" from the menu
  5. Scroll down to App Settings section
  6. Tap "Delete Account" (red text at the bottom)
  7. Read the warning carefully - this action cannot be undone
  8. Enter your password if you have one set up
  9. Type "DELETE" in capital letters to confirm
  10. Tap "Delete Account" to finalize
  11. Your account will be deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days

Option 2: Email Us Directly

If you're unable to access the app, send us an email:

Subject: Delete My Account

Include: Your registered email address

We'll process your request within 7 business days

  • • Blocked users list
  • • Coin balance and transaction history
  • • Banking information (if added)

⚠️ What May Be Retained

  • • Aggregated analytics (anonymized)
  • • Legal compliance records (up to 7 years)
  • • Crash/error logs (anonymized, 90 days)
  • • Financial transaction records (as required by law)
  • • Safety and security reports (if applicable)

Retained data is anonymized and cannot be traced back to your personal identity.

Important Information

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once you confirm deletion, your account is immediately deactivated and you cannot sign in. All data will be permanently deleted after 30 days.

Immediate Effects: Your profile becomes invisible to other users, your content is removed from feeds, and you lose access to the app immediately upon confirmation.

If you're experiencing issues with the app, consider contacting our support team first. We're here to help and may be able to resolve your concerns without account deletion.

Processing Time: Your account is deactivated immediately. Complete data deletion from our servers occurs within 30 days as required by data protection regulations.
